Himalaya Oil Control Lemon Foaming Face Wash Review

Have you been trying a lot of face washes to find ‘the’ right one?  It is not long before that I found Himalaya Oil Control Lemon Foaming Face Wash in one of my cousin’s closet and I thought to give it a try. I am that person who switches up face washes to find one that takes care of everything at once. Since a lot of us use makeup or are exposed to pollution, there’s an increased risk of break outs. I believe it is essential to have a good face wash at reach at all times.

I prefer using natural and herbal remedies for sHimalaya Oil Control Lemon Foaming Face Wash-the girl abroadkin. That is how I was introduced to Himalaya skin care products. I believe our skin goes through a lot, be it makeup, pollution or even sunlight. So instead of loading our skin with even more chemicals I prefer to use something gentle. As I have combination skin, my T-zone generally tends to become oily often . Himalaya oil control Lemon Foaming Face Wash controls the excess oil without leaving the skin dry. It is free from soap, parabens, SLS/SLES and Phthalates. In short, it is a perfect bottle of goodness. It helps to remove makeup including waterproof mascara. In addition to all the chemical freeness in the face wash, there is also lemon and honey extracts. Lemon firms the skin and controls excess oil secretion whereas honey leaves the skin soft and smooth.

This face wash is most suited for combination to oily skin. It claims to control oil and I think it does keep the oil secretion at bay for at least 2-3 hours. It is a tad bit inconvenient to carry it during travel even though the bottle is spill proof because of its size. All in all, I am happy to have given this face wash a try. It is available in any of the supermarkets in UAE or in online stores and is priced at AED 25 for 150ml.

Packaging and texture

Texture of Himalaya Oil Control Lemon Foaming Face Wash-the girl abroad Even thought the texture of the face wash is foamy, it is not hard foam. It is a very soft foam, almost liquidy. It washes off very easily from the face without making it dry. Generally, oil control face washes tend to make the skin look overly dry. Although that is not the case in this one, I don’t recommend it for someone who has even a slight bit of dry skin.Himalaya Oil Control Lemon Foaming Face Wash Packaging-the girl abroad It comes with a pump mechanized plastic bottle. The pump attached with it forms the foam. Just one full pump is enough for each time. I use it twice a day. Once in the morning and the second right before I go to bed. Sometimes if I have to wear makeup in the evening, I wash once more and then I apply makeup. This helps the makeup to stay in place for a bit longer even though I have combination skin.

Please do give it a try and let me know how you liked it in the comments below. Looking forward to read them all.
